Due to popular demands, I have decided to write this post.
Year one in Catholic High,
Shuyi brought his PE shirt up to the calligraphy room. Someone poured the 'mo shui' into the plastic bag containing his shirt. Shuyi complained to the teacher and the whole class had to stay back to memorise 'San Zhi Jin'.
I strongly suspect that Shuyi accidently poured the 'mo shui' into the bag and pushed the blame to us. And we offered to buy him a new shirt but to no avail.
HAHA, sorry shuyi, not targeting you. But this incident is a really must write.
Year two,
SORRY SHUYI, but its about you again. If I remembered correctly, that was a period when we had the 'Manga craze'. Shuyi had this collection of Manga which he kept in his locker. So almost everyone borrowed the books from him and read them during lessons time. Unfortunately, Shanwei was caught reading the book by Mrs Pang during Geography lesson. So the book was confiscated and placed on the teacher's table. Brave Boxian took away the book when Mrs Pang was not paying attention. However, she only realised the book was missing only when lesson ended. So she demanded that the culprit own up and all those stuff. Of course no one owned up. So the whole class had to stand outside the staff room. I still remember opening the unused locker and the book fell out and I was scolded by the rest of the people.
While we were waiting for the Chairman to search the class, Edward Khoo came by and happened to open the Manga. As for what was inside the Manga, I cannot reveal anything. However, for some unknown reason Shuyi went home ahead of us while we continued to be 'punished'. Actually we were just sitting on the steps and critisizing someone. Some were even lying down. So the book was finally found. How was it found? Shuyi just went to the locker and took out the book. I must have threw the book too deep inside the locker (the locker was filled with rubbish) thus the Chairman must have missed it. So we were let off, but the culprit was never caught. And well, Shuyi never brought the books to school again.
Incident 2: Well, we had this mean science teacher called Mrs Tan blah blah. She focused more on punishing the class instead of teaching us. Skip to the main point. There was this super funny laboratory lesson. As usual, Mrs Tan asked us to do this and that AND NOT TO BREAK ANY THINGS. Right after she said that, Albert broke a test tube. If I remember correctly, Lawrence stuck a splint into the hole of the Bunsen burner. What a funny sight! And for some unknown reason, at least 5 test tubes and beaker were broken that day.
Incident 3,
We were having some lesson which I cannot really remember. Must have been a very boring lesson. All of us were seated on the floor. So Lawrence, Bingqiang, Albert and a few others began to dig a hole in the ground. The tools were a pencil and some metal thing. Unfortunately they were caught . The next day Julian Teo came in to scold us, and Albert almost punched him in the face. Punishment for them was detention for 3 days.
Year three,
Nothing much during that year. Seriously Upper secondary life is very different from lower secondary life. I still remember that the 2-8 people had a shock during the first few days. The class was so quiet when there was no teacher in the class. If that was 2-8, we would either be having 'Taupok sessions' or just fighting in class. One interesting event was when we had a filing session for Chinese work. Because many people had files that were ridiculously thin, Shan Wei and I were laughing our head off. Plus Bobby Yong had an expression which was so darn funny. However, something got into him and he took us down to the staff room. Then he threatened us as if wanting to beat us up. And it did not helped that Edmund Yong was drinking fruit juice at the Grandstand and staring at .... , it made us laugh even harder. So we were let off with a warning.
Year four,
Nothing much happened this year. Maybe the regular pumping session during Lawrence Tan session? Everyone was lying down when we were supposed to be in pumping position. Secondary four life is so so boring. Maybe except during graduation night. One more thing, the Chief Presiding Examiner was so funny. He was more interested in checking the alignment of our tables rather than more important stuffs. And the important notice before every paper was such a bore.
There are many more interesting events. Will post them someday.

Graduation Night
What should I say. Catholic High had its graduation night at Marina Mandarin. By the way, the theme was "A Night Of Stars". I went with Say Wei and friends. We walked a big round around the area before finding the hotel. It was located inside Marina Square. So we were 30 min late. Jiayong and friends were kind enough to help me reserve a seat though. Oh, we received a door gift, consisting of Reader Digest, 2 facial wash, a snack, Gatsby deodorant, Hersheys choclate and Eng Wah discount coupons. The food was quite delicious, but I only had a plateful since getting the food was like getting clothes at a sale. Did I mention that the ticket price was 75 dollars? There were events like Mr Mambo, movie guessing, song guessing etc. Of course, our very own taupok sessions (with Kevin as the victim). Then it was picture taking time! Took lots of picture, but not with my camera. Most pictures in Shawn's and Aaron's camera. So I shall upload the few pictures that I have now.
